Shrewsbury House was originally built in 1789 by the 16th Earl of Shrewsbury. In 1799 the house and grounds fell into the ownership of the Prince regent – later King George IV. The present house was built in 1923. Shrewsbury House offers a wide range of meeting rooms, the house and grounds providing an exclusive and inspiring venue for that special occasion. The house is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 10pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm. Shrewsbury House is closed on Sundays.
